A Fresh Look: Launching Our New Website

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our revamped website—a custom-designed, functional space that showcases the best of Meowcoin. It’s designed to enhance user experience and provide easy access to essential information.

Celebrating Community: The Airdrop Event

This month, we hosted a massive airdrop, distributing over 2 million MEWC to our supportive community. These events are crucial in fostering community spirit and engagement, so be sure to join our Discord to stay updated on future events.

Seamless Storage: Komodo's Chrome Wallet Integration

In partnership with Komodo, we've introduced a new Chrome wallet extension, offering a seamless, secure, and accessible way to store Meowcoin directly in your browser. While we're excited about this release, we are eagerly anticipating the next updates for our iOS and Android wallets, which are currently undergoing final touches to include Meowcoin branding.

Development Strides: Empawrium and PawPrint Updates

Empawrium has seen significant progress despite some challenges. Recently, we resolved critical bugs that hindered MEWC withdrawals and token purchases, enhancing the platform’s reliability.

Meanwhile, PawPrint is moving into its next development phase. We aim to integrate secure interactions between the website, core wallet, and databases, facilitated by technology already in use by our Meowcoin Bot during the recent airdrop. This integration promises a unified and seamless user experience.

Network Health: Post-MeowPow Fork

Following the MeowPow fork, we've released the Meowcoin v2.0.4 core wallet update, dubbed "The Banished," which excludes nodes that do not support the MeowPow algorithm. This update is part of our ongoing efforts to improve network security and efficiency.
